Hello and welcome to my blog, my name is Emma Kennedy.
I am a student in the Adventure Tourism Program also known as TTA in Gaspe Qc. I grew up in Northern Quebec in a small town called Pine Hill about 1hour north or Montreal. I already have a D.E.C. in natural sciences and a year of University in Animal Biology. Up until last year my dream was to become a veterinarian but I realized that was not my true passion for life.
Ever since I was a child I would spend my summers outside fishing, hunting and hiking and my winters skating, skiing and skidooing. By being in adventure tourism I am able to do all those things I loved doing as a child and make a career out of it.
After I complete the program I plan on going to University and become a teacher for elementary students and in doing so I hope bring the outdoor program to elementary schools and young children and teach them at a younger age to appreciate and respect the outdoors.
